Jessica Kahal is a young swimmer, for whom swimming has always been an integral part of her life. So far, she has participated in a number of recognized events to showcase her swimming talent. She began learning the sport at a very young age, which helped her master it quite early in life. She received training from Dan Halladay coach and also learnt various swimming techniques from Ms. Juliano, the coach of Girl's Frosh/Soph and Varsity Swimming in Palos Verdes Peninsula High School. As a member of Girl's Frosh/Soph and Varsity Water Polo, she took part in several competitions, including 4x50 Medley Relay and 4x50 Freestyle Relay in the CIF State Swimming and Diving Championships that were organized in Long Beach in 2002.
Owing to her outstanding swimming talent, Jessica Kahal emerged as a winner in most of the competitions she participated in. She received many awards, including the Most Improved swimmer award in Frosh/Soph Water Polo (1999), the Most Valued Player (MVP) award during Frosh/Soph swimming competition (2000), Semper Fidelis Bandsman award from the United States Marine Corps (2003), and many more. She was also honored by the “National Honor Society” and “Spanish National Honor Society”. In the year 2002, Jessica worked as a Pool Lifeguard in Jack Kramer Club, Rolling Hills Estates, where she was assigned the job to keep an eye on people to ensure they are safe in the swimming pool.
As a person, Jessica Kahal is very generous and likes to help people in need. Being a responsible citizen, she also believes in giving back to the community through charity. She has been actively supporting many charitable organizations, one out of which is National Audubon Society. This is an organization that strives to conserve & restore natural ecosystems, focusing on birds, other wildlife for the benefit of humanity and the earth's biological diversity.
