Jessica Kahal's Streamlined, Coordinated Swimming Strokes Have Won Her Huge Recognition

Jessica Kahal is a young swimmer, who has always won immense appreciation for her streamlined, coordinated swimming strokes. From rightly timing her breaths to moving her arms & legs in tandem, she is good at everything that is needed to ensure a breathtaking performance. She developed liking for swimming at a tender age, which soon turned into her passion.

While studying at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School, Jessica Kahal participated in several swimming championships and emerged as a winner in most of them. She was a member of many top swimming teams, including – Girl's Frosh/Soph and Varsity Swimming for 4 years and Girl's Frosh/Soph and Varsity Water Polo for 3 years. She was also a part of San Pedro Peninsula YMCA Swim Team for 1 year.

She was fortunate to have been trained by many seasoned coaches, who had several years of experience in swimming. From 1999 to 2003, when she was a team member of Girl's Frosh/Soph and Varsity Swimming, she received coaching from Ms. Juliano. As Jessica was also a member of Club Swim Team (San Pedro Peninsula YMCA Swim Team), she also got the chance to learn various swimming techniques from coach Dan Halladay.

Jessica Kahal has received numerous awards, which speak volumes about her efficiency as a swimmer. Although every award is dear to her, the ones that will always stay with her as cherished memories are – Most Improved – Frosh/Soph Water Polo (1999), MYP – Frosh/Soph Swimming (2000), and United States Marine Corps – Semper Fidelis Bandsman Award (2003). Jessica has also worked as a Pool Lifeguard at Jack Kramer Club based in Rolling Hills Estates and at Concessions/Box Office in Regal Cinemas The Avenue 13, Rolling Hills Estates.
