Jessica Kahal Received “Most Improved- Frosh/Soph Water Polo” Award In 1999

Jessica Kahal is a skilled, expert swimmer who has learned swimming while completing her high school. She studied at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School from 1999 to 2003 and participated in many swimming competitions. She took part in the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) finals for the 50 meter medley team and a gave wonderful performance. She went to the CIF State Swimming and Diving Championships at Long Beach in the year 2002, where she participated in 4x50 Freestyle Relay as well as 4x50 Medley Relay. From 1999 to 2003, she swam in Girl's Frosh/Soph and Varsity Swimming under the guidance of coach “Ms. Juliano”. For 2 years, she was a part of Girl's Frosh/Soph and Varsity Water Polo.

During school, she used to spend quality time while improving her swimming techniques. She advises people who want to learn swimming to find a spot that is comfortable for them to swim in. A person can practice the mastery of swimming, if he or she has an ample spot to practice. Jessica Kahal tells that there are many benefits of improving swimming techniques. She used to practice a lot to enhance her swimming techniques, which helped her use less energy per length, and completing distance quickly. One of the best ways to improve technique is by practicing the front crawl or freestyle. It is better to use body chiefly on the sides and not on the belly or stomach, which resembles the shape of a sharp knife or blade. The shape of the body should be followed to attain the efficiency of the technique.     

Owing to her superb performances, Jessica Kahal received many honors and awards. These include United Most Improved- Frosh/Soph Water Polo (1999), MVP- Frosh/Soph Swimming (2000), and States Marine Corps- Semper Fidelis Bandsman Award (2003). She was also appointed as a pool lifeguard at Jack Kramer Club, Rolling Hills Estates in the year 2002.

Jessica Kahal's Streamlined, Coordinated Swimming Strokes Have Won Her Huge Recognition

Jessica Kahal is a young swimmer, who has always won immense appreciation for her streamlined, coordinated swimming strokes. From rightly timing her breaths to moving her arms & legs in tandem, she is good at everything that is needed to ensure a breathtaking performance. She developed liking for swimming at a tender age, which soon turned into her passion.

While studying at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School, Jessica Kahal participated in several swimming championships and emerged as a winner in most of them. She was a member of many top swimming teams, including – Girl's Frosh/Soph and Varsity Swimming for 4 years and Girl's Frosh/Soph and Varsity Water Polo for 3 years. She was also a part of San Pedro Peninsula YMCA Swim Team for 1 year.

She was fortunate to have been trained by many seasoned coaches, who had several years of experience in swimming. From 1999 to 2003, when she was a team member of Girl's Frosh/Soph and Varsity Swimming, she received coaching from Ms. Juliano. As Jessica was also a member of Club Swim Team (San Pedro Peninsula YMCA Swim Team), she also got the chance to learn various swimming techniques from coach Dan Halladay.

Jessica Kahal has received numerous awards, which speak volumes about her efficiency as a swimmer. Although every award is dear to her, the ones that will always stay with her as cherished memories are – Most Improved – Frosh/Soph Water Polo (1999), MYP – Frosh/Soph Swimming (2000), and United States Marine Corps – Semper Fidelis Bandsman Award (2003). Jessica has also worked as a Pool Lifeguard at Jack Kramer Club based in Rolling Hills Estates and at Concessions/Box Office in Regal Cinemas The Avenue 13, Rolling Hills Estates.

Jessica Kahal Has Always Garnered Immense Appreciation For Her Outstanding Swimming Skills

Jessica Kahal is a young swimmer, for whom swimming has always been an integral part of her life. So far, she has participated in a number of recognized events to showcase her swimming talent. She began learning the sport at a very young age, which helped her master it quite early in life. She received training from Dan Halladay coach and also learnt various swimming techniques from Ms. Juliano, the coach of Girl's Frosh/Soph and Varsity Swimming in Palos Verdes Peninsula High School. As a member of Girl's Frosh/Soph and Varsity Water Polo, she took part in several competitions, including 4x50 Medley Relay and 4x50 Freestyle Relay in the CIF State Swimming and Diving Championships that were organized in Long Beach in 2002.

Owing to her outstanding swimming talent, Jessica Kahal emerged as a winner in most of the competitions she participated in. She received many awards, including the Most Improved swimmer award in Frosh/Soph Water Polo (1999), the Most Valued Player (MVP) award during Frosh/Soph swimming competition (2000), Semper Fidelis Bandsman award from the United States Marine Corps (2003), and many more. She was also honored by the “National Honor Society” and “Spanish National Honor Society”. In the year 2002, Jessica worked as a Pool Lifeguard in Jack Kramer Club, Rolling Hills Estates, where she was assigned the job to keep an eye on people to ensure they are safe in the swimming pool.

As a person, Jessica Kahal is very generous and likes to help people in need. Being a responsible citizen, she also believes in giving back to the community through charity. She has been actively supporting many charitable organizations, one out of which is National Audubon Society. This is an organization that strives to conserve & restore natural ecosystems, focusing on birds, other wildlife for the benefit of humanity and the earth's biological diversity.

Jessica Kahal Was Awarded By National Honor Society

Jessica Kahal is a very talented swimmer who has great interest in this sport. She completed her high schooling from Palos Verdes Peninsula High School (1999 to 2003). During her schooling, she learned different techniques of swimming from professional swimmers and polished her skills by practicing for long hours. She took part in numerous swimming events and competitions and gained success in many of them. Jessica considers swimming as a very good fitness exercise and motivates people to go for this sport in order to relax and refresh their minds. She was a member of Girl’s Fresh/Sophomore and Varsity Swimming. In addition, she also had membership with Girl’s Fresh/Sophomore and Varsity Water Polo and San Pedro Peninsula YMCA Swim.

Besides swimming, she is also a good singer who participated in various singing competitions. She took part in High School Musicals (Pit Orchestra). Jessica Kahal received various awards/honors from renowned societies and organizations like National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society. From 2000 to 2003, she participated in Intermediate and Advanced Orchestra. At Winter Concert in 2002, Jessica played flute solo (Mozart, Flute Concerto in D Major) with Advanced Orchestra. She took part in California State University Long Beach Concert Band. In addition to this, she has also remained a member of Asian American Youth Symphony Orchestra.

Jessica has a very good nature. She interacts with people very politely. She is a resident of the State of California for many years. She loves her parents very much (father Lawrence Kahel and mother Marie Kahel). Jessica shares every moment of her life with her brothers Joshua and Justin and she enjoys spending time with them.

Jessica Kahal also has a professional career. She has been a part of Rolling Hills Estates, CA The Jack Kramer Club (as a Pool Lifeguard) and Regal Cinemas (as Concessions/Box Office), in which she successfully fulfilled all her responsibilities.

Jessica Kahal Was Awarded The Most Improved Band Musician In 2001

Jessica Kahal is a very talented musician who has won many awards and honors. It was in the year 1999 when she enrolled in Palos Verdes Peninsula High School to pursue her higher education and she fell in love with music. She has sung many songs and was also a member of many renowned musical bands and orchestras. From 1999 to 2003, she learned numerous different things from Mr. Fesmire, the director of Marching Band/Concert Band. He not only helped her refine her skills, but has also assisted her become skilled at different musical instruments. Under the supervision of Mr. Marino, the director, she worked hard for Intermediate and Advanced Orchestra group.

Jessica Kahal is always ready to work hard and keeps on educating herself on various different aspects of professional music making. During her higher education, she used to practice 15-16 hours in a day before any performance. She has a persistent and patient attitude, and would make steps to improve herself everyday, so as to become the best in this field. She says that it hardly matters which aspect of the arts or music people are passionate about, it is very important to practice their craft in a regular routine. After Mr. Marino, she sang many songs when she was a member of Choir and Jazz Choir under Mrs. Maddaford. For 3 years, i.e. from 2000 to 2003, she was a member of National Audubon Society.

She went to many competitions and gave many unforgettable performances. Jessica Kahal participated in the Peninsula High School drumline and sang in the Peninsula High School chorus at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. She was awarded by the National Honor Society and received the Most Improved award while working with Advanced Orchestra in the year 2001. In addition to participating in a variety of musical activities and events, she also conducted Intermediate Orchestra at Winter Concert 2002- “Theme from Forest Gump”, and Advanced Orchestra in Spring Concert 2003.

Jessica Kahal Has Attended Palos Verdes Peninsula High School

Jessica Kahal is listed among the talented persons in America who has been actively involved in a number of activities. As an intelligent girl, she has the ability to understand things easily. She attended Palos Verdes Peninsula High School (from 1999 to 2003). She was one of the band members of this school and gave a number of great performances at numerous events. Owing to her high skills, she won a number of awards and received accolades from her band mates. She is very passionate towards learning new things. She was honored by an academic honor society Spanish National Honor Society and National Honor Society. In addition to this, she also received United States Marine Corps – Semper Fidelis Bandsman Award (2003) and Most Improved- Advanced Orchestra (2001).

She is a talented singer who has taken part in a wide range of competitions including Intermediate and Advanced Orchestra (from 2000 to 2003). Jessica Kahal has been a part of Asian American Youth Symphony Orchestra and participated in California State University Long beach Concert Band. In addition to this, she is also a good swimmer who won various swimming competitions. She was member of San Pedro Peninsula YMCA Swim, Girl’s Fresh/Sophomore and Varsity Swimming, and Girl’s Fresh/Sophomore and Varsity Water Polo.

She worked as a Pool Lifeguard at The Jack Kramer Club, a Rolling Hills Estates, CA based professional sports club that provides a wide range of tennis and swim programs. The club serves people of all levels and ages, and its programs include summer camp and swim camp for preschool and elementary-aged children, seasonal lifeguard training etc. In addition to this, her professional experience also includes Concessions/Box Office at Regal Cinemas, Rolling Hills Estates from 2002 to 2004.

Jessica Kahal is a good natured person. She is residing in California for many years. In her family, there are four members, her father Lawrence Kahel, mother Marie Kahel, and two brothers Joshua and Justin. She loves her family members very much, and takes out some time for them even in busy schedules.

Jessica Kahal Received United States Marine Corps – Semper Fidelis Bandsman Award In 2003

Jessica Kahal is a professional swimmer and an outstanding band musician, as well. Owing to her great dedication in both the fields, she has collected many accolades under her belt. She was awarded by the National Honor Society as well as the Spanish National Honor Society. Other honors and awards include Most Improved- Frosh/Soph Water Polo (1999), MYP – Frosh/Soph Swimming (2000), Most Improved – Advanced Orchestra (2001), and United States Marine Corps – Semper Fidelis Bandsman Award (2003). In 2002, she served Jack Kramer Club based in Rolling Hills Estates as a pool lifeguard, and Regal Cinemas The Avenue 13 as concessions/box office employee in Rolling Hills Estate for 2 years.

Jessica is an experienced swimmer and has won many swimming championships. She has great endurance, strength, insulation against heat loss when in the water below body temperature, therefore, low resistance when in the water, better energy conservations, and knows excellent swimming stroke mechanics. Jessica Kahal says that the best swimmers are generally tall, thin, and have long arms, legs, hands, and long feet, as well. The long size of hands gives them incredible water grasp and a very small hand movement helps them swim easily. This is the reason, why some individuals are better swimmers as compared to others.
   
She completed her studies from Palos Verdes Peninsula High School, and when she was a student there, she was a member of a Club Swim Team called “San Pedro Peninsula YMCA Swim Team”, and received world class training from Dan Halladay coach. Ms. Juliano, the coach of Girl's Frosh/Soph and Varsity Swimming also instructed Jessica Kahal, and taught her easy, effective techniques of swimming. For 2 years (1999-2001), she took part in many swimming competitions as a member of Girl's Frosh/Soph and Varsity Water Polo. She participated in 4x50 Medley Relay and 4x50 Freestyle Relay in the CIF State Swimming and Diving Championships that were organized in Long Beach in 2002.
